I think that's Skysports.... I would assume it's going to be the same format.

I hope so. I can see someone buying the rights and "Americanizing" it. Complete with commercials during the races and their own commentary staff.

I just saw Hulu's new TOS includes the right to have ads even on the ad free plans. Amazon added ads even if your a Prime member. I'm sure it's coming one way or another because everything good always goes to **** for the almighty dollar. I think Netflix would keep it ad free but I've watched two live events now on Netflix and both were awful. The golf thing during the first Vegas race and the debacle of the Tyson/Paul fight.

I get the Tyson/Paul fight thing. They just were not ready. The good thing about Netflix is they have WWE so they have got it up to speed on streaming live events. The have adds on WWE, not very many but they have them. Danica will go to whatever station they go to. They want a women to be part of the show and an American women really is what they like. Add to it she is the most famous American Racer in history (Even though she kind of sucked most of the time) and you are not getting rid of her. She is also easy on the eyes still.

I would rather Netflix get it instead of ABC/CBS/NBC. The way Indy car is presented is trash compared to F1. I also don't want an American Announcer for it. The Sky1 guys are great. Plus, watching an Euro sport with American announcers sucks. Even soccer in America needs Euro announcers for a better effect.

I'm really just hoping whoever gets the rights can see the current system is working that they shouldn't **** with it.

The other alternative is VPN and F1TV if it goes to crap, I guess. I'm guessing F1TV will become unavailable in the US.

IF NBC Picks it up, them giving up or losing IndyCar will not be bad at all. The production value is soooo much better.

I am kinda tired of the terrible camera work from ESPN, looks like **** most times.
Camera work has nothing to do with ESPN. ESPN just gets the feed from Sky Sports, they have no control over what is shown. I assume it will be the same if NBC picks it up.

I’m pretty sure ESPN doesn’t do any of the production. It’s all handled by F1 itself and sold as a global feedstream.
