Haas is basically using his cars as a rolling billboard, so, if they are running steady mid pack, they get no air time, but, if they are slow and getting lapped by faster cars, at least they get some TV Time.

I think it was a mistake for them to get rid of Steiner, he was such a character TV was willing to give him some air time, to get his comments. Komatsu definitely seems a lot more reserved. He could be a great team principal for them, but I'm not sure they'll cut in during the race to talk to him to discuss being a backmarker like they did Steiner. If you are just going to spend enough to stay on the grid and nothing more, might as well make a spectacle of it.

Seeing some reports that Hamiltons deal with Ferrari is at 100MM per year. The drivers are gonna be the winners with the cost cap.

********, at least to the point of F1 seriously considering adding Andretti. With that kind of money and what's at stake, you don't think you at least make a phone call or text?

Other than I’m assuming if they released this that Andretti found the email incoming around the time F1 sent it. It wouldn’t have got caught up in an outbound junk folder.

Yes, but it's still ridiculous. I've changed jobs a few times in my 30 year career and one recently. I'm not that important and there is never millions, if not billions of dollars at stake. Prospective employers have always called me for an interview. Hell, I've even gotten rejection calls. So back to my original point, if F1 were seriously considering Andretti, they've had gotten in touch with him. They didn't think he blew off their email and decided to reject him.

This NASCAR show on Netflix is fun to watch and I’m not a big motorsports guy to begin with.

If you like this show I’d also encourage you to watch the Netflix Tour de France series.

I'm actually disappointed in this. You need a good villain and there is no better villain on the grid than Christian Horner.
I guess I don't consider Horner a good villian. He doesn't like the part honestly, but to me comes off as a whiny, pretentious prick who doesn't get why people don't love him. Helmut is a much better villan than Horner.

Now Max, he crushes it. Love him or hate him, he doesn't give a **** and does what he does unapologetically. Even when there's no one who can match him or his car, he'll still push the limits of fair play. I don't like him, but can appreciate it.
