F1 2023 Discussion

*Clears throat*

It's quite a large racing car and tends to be quite loud, however, don't lets it's size fool you. It's surprisingly quick as many other unfortunate race cars have discovered. While it will never be king of the race track, it is more than happy to take down some smaller prey and establish it's place within the herd."

It is a funny picture, but don’t fool yourself those LMP and Hypercars are actually tiny. They make a Porsche 911 look like a full size sedan when placed side by side.
Unless you've been up close to a purpose built LMP or open wheel race car I think it's really hard to grasp how small they are. Even with a modern F1 car getting "big" they're the size of a Honda Civic. An open wheel car from the 80's isn't much bigger than a go kart. It's crazy how compact you can get when you only need room for one ass and a powertrain.

Let's be honest, typically the driver is almost an afterthought.

Very wet qualifying.

1. Max
2. Hulkenberg
3. Alonso
4. Hamilton
5. Russell

Love that the hulk is on the front row. Hopefully he can get some point’s tomorrow.

Ferrari just doing stupid crap out on the track for no reason

Meanwhile in Indy car today Will Power had some thoughts. He was pissed by 2 incidents. One where Grosjean put a bad block on him and the second where Dixon didn't see him coming and swerved right into him.

No Piastri had recorded a time and by the time they could restart it was raining so hard Albon would not have been able to beat Piastris time.

Oddly enough, I’ve watched Indycar my entire 52 years of life and Will Power is the only driver I have actively rooted against. He always seemed like an ultra-baby to me.
