Probably but we'll have to wait and see I guess.

I'm cautiously optimistic.

If nothing else a new track should always be interesting just because everyone is on the same footing (especially this year).

A couple of the drivers seem pretty optimistic about it (granted, they are probably required to be optimistic).

So think this is going to be a boring circuit at Miami this weekend or no?

I’m excited to see how it goes. I was super skeptical that it was a straight money grab but I think they did a great job for a parking lot. Its very Miami.

The inland yacht thing is still super weird. I thought they were going to at least fill it with water.

COTA is the average persons race while Miami is going to be the “it” race for the rich party folk. I can see the rest of the world hating it though, especially the long time diehards.

I kind of don't like when the race is in the middle of the day, I like waking up and the race starting early. Hopefully the track is good, going to be a shame if the racing ends up being boring.

Also, Lando's helmet this week is something. I like it just because I like seeing people being creative with their helmets, but it's definitely different.

Agreed, especially on Mother’s Day. It looks like I won’t be watching until Sunday night.

Yeah I hate the race being on in the middle of the afternoon. I really like getting up on a Sunday morning, drinking my coffee and watching the race before anybody gets up. Then I have all afternoon to do whatever else needs done around the house.

Also new engines for every Ferrari powered car except Carlos (Leclerc, Bottas, Guanyu, Magnussen, Schumacher) and also Gasly. 2nd out of 3 for the Ferraris, 3rd for Gasly.

Red Bull changing Max's gear box. Not likely he participates in Practice 2.

Put some money on Lewis Hamilton at +6500 to win Sunday. I know he’s had a bad year, but figured that’s not a bad $2 investment. Also put a good chunk of money on LeClerc at +120

Final practice results before qualifying. Max was very fortunate to stop just before the wall when he crashed:
