I think this is one if my biggest issues with tj... He needs to ride the refs more.

I get your pain, but my gosh we have like 35 turnovers against Texas tech this season and we are not even done with the 2nd game. We can't make shots and out of nearly 80 mins we went like 25 of them without scoring a single point.
we have 42 points with like 5 mins left. thats not going to cut it. much bigger issues than the refs. that being said, I feel your pain.

After both games, both teams have 31 turnovers in the series. ISU 15 tech 18 in the first game, ISU 16, tech 13 tonight. And as poorly as we shot tonight, we still made more shots than Tech. Refs had an impact, tech got into the bonus early and the game changed from there. Refs aren’t an excuse for poor play but they impact the game

And 5 of the 7 free throws were by the losing teams 12th man who came in with 2 minutes left. Can’t tell me refs didn’t notice a 15-3 foul disparity and think “****, this looks weird”

My God, Techs 4th foul in the half was just touching with two hands, something they did all game, every ******* possession. Why was it a random as foul when it was a 20 point game, but not a foul before?

Watching it, I definitely felt like we were more to blame for the foul discrepancy than the refs. Never really thought the refs were an issue that entire game. So I guess I will also **** off.

You pick a weird game to die on "the refs didn't change the game" hill. Especially when you're argument has to do with. It's out of position often caused by pushes... And then foul trouble that led to our bigs having nkehythm. Do you honestly think the refs didn't effect the outcome of this game?

You saw those obvious flops from Tech in the first half that warranted a technical foul not only go uncalled but end up in a foul on ISU and you didn’t think the refs were an issue?

Best was the Kunc foul where the dude goes flying 15 feet and there’s barely any contact.

The refs definitely impacted the game. I do believe Tech played their best game of the year. If the refs called this correctly, this game is MUCH closer. Still I think Tech would have likely won.

Yeah there's bad calls every game both ways. My point is I don't think the refs were the reason for the foul discrepancy. That was more on us than the refs. And I definitely am not blaming the refs for this loss.

Not necessary given nearly equal FTs in that game. Texas shot two more I believe. That was a fairly officiated game unlike tonight.

Ah, we’re getting killed in the paint because they foul first and that’s why they’re getting point blank shots. Brilliant. Of course I watched the game, but otherwise brilliant.
