Eustachy Scuffle?

"After the game, walking out of the athletic center towards home, the same New Mexico coach was standing right outside the door, and we made eye contact, and he smirked at me and said, 'Take that L, boy,' and after that I exploded," Omogbo told ESPN. "After that, both the coach and myself exchanged words back and forth until Coach Larry Eustachy intervened, and I continued walking home."

"My assistant didn't do anything wrong, and I stand by that," New Mexico head coach Craig Neal said in a text to ESPN later Saturday.

Larry might be the only one that comes out of that video looking good. Must admit I felt a pang of nostalgia when I saw the look of disgust on his face: "Grow up!"

That kid's parents died in a fire almost exactly a year ago, he's probably not in the best place emotionally so close to that anniversary, maybe that coach shouldn't have been a raging douche to him??

That coach has issues. The player shouldn't have reacted the way he did, but I think it was pretty clear Larry thought the coach was being an ass.

UNM coach seemed to have a kind of 'Bret Bielema' syndrome, i.e. not 'over it'.

Semi related reaction. If UNLV was the team of old, the MW would be a really interesting conference.

Who was the person who walked up to the NM coaches?

NM must still be suffering from the Alfrod effect.

Sounds like NM was playing dirty all game and this particular coach was talking heavy trash to CSU players. Surprised Larry didn't blow up.
