ESPN's Britt Mchenry's tirade

She should know better, but you know what, she's not the first person to go off on a tow company, and wont be the last. One of the scummiest businesses there is.

Doesnt excuse her from attacking the worker personally. Go after the business and their tactics.

Just for clarification at the water cooler tomorrow, everyone is expected to demonize the pretty blonde one for acting like a condescending ***** and give the tow truck lady a pass even though she went on an 8 day spree of trying to get this information out to anyone that look at it so she could get her petty revenge and her name out there for a few minutes, correct?

See this is my problem with the whole thing. The tow lot attendee hears crap like this all the time she works... It's the nature of the business she's involved in. However, she got this video of this customer to go public. Maybe she did this to make an example, but my guess is she did it for her own glory and fame. Again, not excusing Britt as she is a total B for saying what she said. She honestly reminds me of Rachel McAdams in Mean Girls.

ESPN should fire her. There are a thousand other hot chicks with journalism degrees waiting in line to take her place.

Agreed. Plus being hot and bitchy isn't necessarily synonymous. I would imagine ESPN has plenty of qualified hot chicks who are good people trying to land a job with them. There's really no room for this type of trash. Every time I see her on TV now it's going to leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Fame & glory? I didn't catch the employee's name. Must not have become too famous...

She didn't say one word about the company. Just all personal attacks on someone who at least has a job and is trying. We have so many people in this country without jobs that could work that she should talk to like that. Not this person.
Britt is a piece of selfish garbage.

You don't knock someone else's hustle. I think she's a total B but it should have no effect on her job. You shouldn't get suspended from your job from being an ahole off the clock. ESPN doesn't care about this parking attendant, this is just a gesture to act like they care

Wow. And, I really have no problem with the attendant taking it public. And, she gets a one-week suspension? Again...wow.

I think the best punishment has already been issued, the release of the video. Thanks to the internet, those things can haunt you forever.

Instead of giving her a week's vaca from work they should make her go to the gym and roll with Ronda Rousey for a week.

The only effective punishment for a$$holishness of this level is a nice, humbling butt whooping.

Another thing about this, the attendant is just there to collect the money, she had nothing to do with the towing.

I have a hard time believing the attendant hears this type of thing all the time. I've had a car towed a time or two. People are angy, but this was way more than anything I've ever witnessed. Certainly probably one of the few, if not only times, she's heard the "I'm a celebrity rap".

"I have a brain and you don't" Yes.. that brain is why you work at ESPN and have seeming never done anything other than sports..... :skeptical:

She needs to be fired and see how far that brain gets her. (she is a grad of Northwestern school of journalism it seems)

In an intense and stressful moment, I allowed my emotions to get the best of me and said some insulting and regrettable things. As frustrated as I was, I should always choose to be respectful and take the high road. I am so sorry for my actions and will learn from this mistake.

High road? Intense and stressful moment?

Jesus - your car got freaking towed. You weren't a hostage in a bank robbery.

Agreed. By the time she hits her mid-30s she'll likely have moved to a small town in Georgia and gotten busted for hosting a booze, pot, and illicit sex party with her teenage daughter. Justice, delayed.
