When you click on the reporter’s name it says he’s a Washington State grad and covers the pac 12..... so obviously very bias. It is sad though that someone that is pretty much writing for a company that is about as big as you get was so bad actually doing a little better research and writing a better article instead of joining in on the party of saying we don’t belong and others do..... Can’t wait to see us roll Oregon and see Costal Carolina get beat by a very good coach from Liberty and then see what these type of writers use as an excuse why we showed up and were by far the better team..... The next thing will be we had a chance to play more games and a longer season to have the chance to improve.

So true. These guys thrive on getting a rise out of fans. Do you all remember David Ubben? He was also an ESPN blogger. After ISU fired Rhoads he said something like ISU is in for a rude awakening for where they stand in college football based on the next the coach we hire.
He was silent after ISU hired Campbell and was really never to be heard of again. He no longer works for ESPN.
I don't really care either, I'm just amused by the arguments. I think this year is damn near impossible to make a great argument for anyone being deserving of anything outside of Alabama who is so obviously really damn good. College football is so uneven as it is in a normal year with conferences playing different amounts of conference games, divisions that don't allow you to play all teams so conference SOS is uneven, different types of out of conference schedules with some teams playing games against actual competition vs a bunch of cupcakes. Throw that all together and then you have this mysterious committee with various metrics and the ever-moving target of the "eye test" deciding who the best teams are and all you have is chaos. This is what we sign up for every year, yet people lose their minds over the fairness of it every year. The system isn't fair. It's never been set up that way and I don't think there's a lot of motivation to change it. I'm not complaining. It creates a lot of discussion and intrigue. But the media members that lose their mind over fairness amuse me. They can't be that dense, can they?
