ISU grew too much, too fast anyway. It was one of Leath's big pushes when he got here, but he didnt account for the housing situation, either on campus or in Ames as a whole. I mean the number of new complexes that went up in the last 4 years is crazy.

Yeah its cool that we are the biggest in the state, but the growth was rushed.

I agree with this. Although I will say that I've been told by a former ISU extension employee that the growth was a Regents push more than a Leath push. I'm not sure if that is accurate or not, but a lot of growth was starting to happen in the later years of Geoffrey.
