Emmanuel Malou

How long are his weeks? Thought he was cutting his list to 4 in a week (posted 9/4).

ASU seems to have a real chance with Thon Maker. Not sure if Maker going to ASU would help or hurt them with Malou. Certainly makes ASU seem more like a destination but both seem like stretch bigs. That said, Maker to ASU on the surface seems like a surprise. New coach of course, but when was the last time ASU was any good?

Exactly, ASU may be a nice destination, but their BB program and fan support is garbage.

The Curtain of Distraction begs to differ.

But I agree with you.

As long as high ranked kids continue to go to UNLV, I'm convinced those things don't matter.

Besides, Hurley being the coach there now is enough to begin a change. If he puts together a couple decent teams, things may begin to change. Then of course he'll move on to a bigger job, but nonetheless he himself can start a change.

Maker & his mentor/caretaker or whatever have pretty big connections to an ASU assistant & Hurley I believe. I'd be really surprised if Maker didn't end up there.

I could be wrong, but doesn't Hurley kind of have a background like Fred? I know he has previous coaching experience, but for some reason I felt like he had done some kind of front office work somewhere too. Am I completely wrong with that? I probably am.

it's alike a toss-up on whether Thon ever plays college ball I thought. Grades no?
