Good. I thought the kid had as much talent as any, just needed the practice and discipline.
Been a few weeks, but in December, Malou was retweeting some Iowa State stuff. Nothing about other schools.
Seems like he REALLY wanted to be a Cyclone, and this ABCD prep really ****ed him over.
Goes by "Manny"
Losing the bigs we lose after next year, I wonder if Hoiberg will continue pursuing him.

Site is very poorly run so I'm not totally sure on stats. It says he averages 12.4 minutes a game. My guess is that's supposed to be doubled, because he leads the team in minutes/game.
So those stats are likely 24.8 minutes/game

Wow that is a horrible website. I'm guessing most high schools have better ones.
Yup. To me, seems a lot like Darien Williams. 5 pounds lighter and one inch taller.
Athletic wise, reminds me of McKay. Not the same wingspan, but very fast paced and can jump out of the gym if he needs to. Same size as McKay as well.
Averaging 15 and 5 a game, and is 8-19 on 3Ps for the year. Not bad for a freshman still developing to the level of competition here. Leads the team in TOs though.
Selfishly I wish he would have gone to an Iowa Juco like IWCC to get a better assessment of his ability. He still sounds like a Plan C "take a flier" type, but every year there are guys like that which end up being major contributors.

Why aren't we recruiting him? He wants to be a Cyclone, he's one of the top JUCOS, has size and can shoot.
This. Can't recruit HS kids, can't coach defense, can't teach rebounding fundamentals, can't recruit JUCO's (obviously DW left), can't get any transfers (guy from Loyola didn't even visit), you would think a caoach that made like 14000% of his FT's in his playing days could teach guys how to shoot FT's.. I won't be surprised if we regress terribly next season.
