Electric Razor Advice

Have had my electric razor for over a decade and a combination of a dull blade and my aging skin is making it longer and more annoying to shave. Found one online that seemed to have decent reviews but wouldn't mind first-hand accounts from fellow fanatics. https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-3011489/braun-3080s-mens-series-3-shaver.jsp?skuid=64100757&CID=shopping15&utm_campaign=PERSONAL CARE&utm_medium=CSE&utm_source=google&utm_product=64100757&utm_campaignid=9733267177&gclid=CjwKCAjw4rf6BRAvEiwAn2Q76nURhQV30kUKRaXFfT3TsursehyUioa1WDcSfBWvXsc8n13DKnlCRxoCVpkQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Curious what people would recommend.....and go!

TIA
I have this one and love it: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F7XYMNN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have never been able to use an electric razor, my face just burns up, I have tried many versions all with the same results. I would love to not have to use a blade every day. :-(

It takes time for your skin to get used to it. Just like it takes time to get used to a razor.

In a similar vein, since we are talking about facial hair, if anyone has any tips/advice on beard oil, that would cool. I’ve grown once since covid and I think I need to put some product in it to tame in down a bit.

This will take care of you:

I have something similar that I once in awhile use. I've tried a lot of rotary along with foil and I still don't know which I like best. In the end, they all suck compared to an actual blade.

I would 100% agree that electric shavers suck compared to actual razors. The problem is I get horrible pimples on my neck, and it doesn’t matter what I do - shave cream/gel, no shave cream, unscented/undyed cream, shave in the shower, new razor - I get the pimples.

I still get them with an electric razor, but it’s much fewer and much more tolerable. For the last few years I’ve been using a Norelco 5000 series. It’s not great, I have to clean up my neck with an actual razor every few days, but for the most part it does the job
