Electric Razor Advice

I have something similar that I once in awhile use. I've tried a lot of rotary along with foil and I still don't know which I like best. In the end, they all suck compared to an actual blade.

Have had my electric razor for over a decade and a combination of a dull blade and my aging skin is making it longer and more annoying to shave. Found one online that seemed to have decent reviews but wouldn't mind first-hand accounts from fellow fanatics. https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-3011489/braun-3080s-mens-series-3-shaver.jsp?skuid=64100757&CID=shopping15&utm_campaign=PERSONAL CARE&utm_medium=CSE&utm_source=google&utm_product=64100757&utm_campaignid=9733267177&gclid=CjwKCAjw4rf6BRAvEiwAn2Q76nURhQV30kUKRaXFfT3TsursehyUioa1WDcSfBWvXsc8n13DKnlCRxoCVpkQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Curious what people would recommend.....and go!

TIA
I have had a previous version of this model for quite some time. At least 5 plus years. I think I have changed the "foil head" twice since, buying replacement on amazon for 30ish dollars. Its worked just fine for me, I recommend.

For years, I used a Braun Series 3. It was okay. Good, not great.

A year or so ago, I bought the cheapest Braun. Ugh. Not good.

A few weeks ago, I bought the Braun Series 7. Fantastic. Best shaves I've had since using blades. I debated about paying the extra money and wondered if there really was a difference. There was. The Series 7 is way better than the Series 3 ever was. Way more power and it does the work for me. Very little need to push.

P.S. The trimmer on the Series 7 is awkwardly positioned. I liked the Series 3 trimmer much better.

In a similar vein, since we are talking about facial hair, if anyone has any tips/advice on beard oil, that would cool. I’ve grown once since covid and I think I need to put some product in it to tame in down a bit.

Whatever you do, don't cheap out and buy some no-name version. I bought a MOOSOO electric shaver on Amazon and it's identical in looks as the brand name ones, has high ratings, etc. The only problem is that it spins at about half the speed as the name brand ones. I gave it a 3 star review and was constantly harassed by the seller. They would give me a refund if I deleted my comment. I refused the refund and went back and gave it a 1 star.

Should have deleted your comment, taken the refund and then posted your 1 star comment.

I can't use a regular razor due to strength in my hands so I've been using an electric razor for 20 years. My current razor is a Norelco 9000. It's the best electric razor I've had. With any electric you still have to replace the blades. I replace them every 6mo, so factor that in.
