CW and Blum thought the spread would be as great as 90/10 in favor of west coast 90s rap over east.

For my money, Biggie is much better than Tupac, although the overall west coast catalog is better than east.

Who you got?

If I got to choose a coast, I got to choose the East. That doesn’t mean a person can’t rest in the West. See some nice breasts in the West.

Came to post this but the full version.

I'll go East. Biggie is good but Nas is great.

Can write include the ATL in easy or we simply saying nyc

Is jock jams east or west?

Honestly, none of the above. Don't enjoy any of it. There's very little of what would pass as music. It's like beatnik slam poetry from the 50s, except with f-bombs and n-bombs. It just doesn't speak to me; and I find it unpleasant.

East has the best rapper with Nas. Overall, I'd go West coast though.

Don't make me choose, there is good/bad from both sides. My tastes have also changed, I use to like JayZ but not anymore. I like a lot of Kanye but nothing from the last two records. Wutang, Kendrick, Biggie, Public Enemy, Dre, BDP, etc. I liked them all at one time.

This reminds me of people I knew in high school that would debate in study hall about all of the E vs. W stuff like they were directly involved in it from small town Iowa.

Like people do with sports teams they have nothing to do with? Like their favorite player on their favorite team actually knows who they are and gives a rip about them or their life?
