Dwayne Haskins Dead at 24

When I was in Australia we were heading to Sydney for the weekend on the train and we hit someone committing suicide. That was such a weird announcement when they told us about why we were stopped and it would be such a long delay. They seemed as if it was a semi-normal occurrence.
I've heard that it's somewhat common in places with lots of trains.

Even if it's not suicide, at grade commuter rail sees a lot of strikes. During the 3-4 months I spent on a job that involved both BNSF and Metrolink (LA Commuter Rail), I think there were 3 or 4 reports of people getting struck by trains and killed. One of the flaggers said that one of the reasons he stopped the plan to become an engineer on the train was it was simply a question of when you would hit and kill a pedestrian on the tracks, not if you would hit them.

The lawsuit, filed last month in Broward County, Florida, lists four individuals, two restaurants, a golf driving range and a hotel as defendants connected to the alleged conspiracy.

It’s Florida, and I enjoy Carl Hiaasen novels,
so I’m not going to rule out a 4-way conspiracy to blackmail the dude. But this also seems like an attempt to extract a settlement from as many insurance companies as possible.

Agreed. Not going to completely rule it out but it looks like a money grab. I worry that the family isn't going to like what they find out about this.

The family didn't get along with his wife. They had their own service without inviting the wife saying that "

We have never met or spoken to the wife [Kalabrya Haskins] and we didn't want our son's funeral service to be the place we met her for the first time," Tamara and Dwayne Haskins Sr.
