Downtown Royals Stadium

That's almost strictly a factor of the volume of people since baseball games generally have 30-50% the number of fans attending.

Of course, but I guess my point is double the people isn't double the traffic hassles and wait time. It's more like 4x or 5x because that second half often ends up in more temporary lots with less traffic control.

I think traffic and access is an important consideration for building a football stadium while I think it's often overblown for choosing a baseball site.

Talk about a complete bailout for the ineptitude of Jackson County/KC leadership... best possible solution.

Now watch KC Tenant group come to screw things up.

It's weird to me how both this and the Chiefs stadium all of a sudden, one day seem like done deals. When before that, it felt like endless public discussions and even votes shooting different plans down.

I like the two sites so feel it's a good result. But it certainly gives me the feeling the idea of public discourse was a bit of a sham. And then I also wish less public money went to stadiums but that's a nationwide problem.
