Disappointing season

I'm not going to hear that we have to stay positive. We can say it this was a disappointing season. Pre season top 5 team and to lose the way we did in the round of 32 in a non-competitive game.

I not going to go as far as to start blaming the coach, players, or fans. Sometimes you just don't meet expectations and this year we most certainly did not.

Given the hype and what we had returning plus our additions in the portal - extremely disappointing season. We didn’t really accomplish anything meaningful besides being in the top 10 for awhile I suppose.

I’d anticipate having another ncaa tourney team next year but our window for a final 4 closed for time being imo unless we get major upgrades in the portal.

It was a fun season overall. Won a lot of games. If anything I was super disappointed in our defense most of the season.

Reminds me of the Niang injury season. Had a chance and injuries prevented the team from playing their best when it counted the most.

From ranked #2 and top 10 for 90% of the season, to getting curb stomped in the round of 32 is extremely disappointing to say the least. Injury bug kept kicking us in the nuts every single week.

Too much hype going into the season for both the men and the women. At least the men walked the walk to start but were not the same team in big 12 play

Finished 5th in the conference, lost in the quarterfinals round of the B12 tourney, and blown out in the round of 32 in the NCAA. Other than spending a lot of time highly ranked, agree, we didn't accomplish squat. Very disappointing.

I think I'm going to have to stop listening to CF podcasts, the hype machine of the athletic department. I'm old enough to remember when Nojus Indrusaitis looked great last summer before accumulating a grand total of 30 minutes of PT this whole season.

Of course it's disappointing, I like to think it's mostly because of injuries but it definitely felt like this team was cursed.

But anyways we've got a generational coach in Otz who was built for the NIL era especially with a team with limited funds.

We've got plenty of more "disappointing" seasons to come, and that's a good thing. We've got to remember that we're in the good times. This sucks but it's not the end of the Otz story.

Yep, disappointing. We peaked at the wrong time and injuries killed us. Don't know if we'll see another final 4 caliber roster like we had this year with the NIL landscape.
