Did we beat Tulsa last week?

I had been disappointed early with our defense last week. That disappointment faded with the 2nd half, but especially with this performance. That's a pretty decent team.

I, too, was disappointed with our defense early on last week. At the same time, they were put in difficult situations early on with the safety and interception that was tipped off of the ISU WR's hands.

No doubt that's true. It felt like Tulsa was making it look easy, but tough situations also helped them out.
Tulsa has really removed some lingering questions today. I'm grateful for that.

Iowa has a better qb, and Tulsa has a much better set of backs, but I agree. Similar firepower.

I think Tulsa has the better QB, don't know about running backs since EIU is down to what #3? What matters is the offensive lines. Seems like EIU usually gets that going.

Tulsa probably has the better athlete at QB, but as a pure passer, Vberg has probably been a bit better. However, I think Tulsa's other skill positions are superior, but EIU has a better O-line (although last week's performance of 6 sacks makes me question that)
