Deon Broomfield Named DB coach

The hits just keep on coming! When will it end? Big XII regular season champs, Fiesta Bowl champs, wins in one season over the Big XII Champs, and the Pac 12 Champs. Now the hits are good news. Having a former Cyclone player become a Cyclone coach is fantastic news.

This. Veidt is the next guy in line, period. We're going to be lucky if someone doesn't hire him away first.
That's how I feel about Scheelhaase. I think he could be a MAC level OC soon, and P5 OC in 5 years.
Hope he stays here. Love him.

This is a great hire- I love that he’s got connections in several places. More good news for our football team!

Yes! I was just mentioning college coaches but that’s true.

Also grant Mahoney is at some tiny school in the Dakotas. And Austin Flynn has coached some in college, I think.
Farnyard is on the strength and conditioning staff at Florida State. Derron Montgomery has been a WR coach at several schools. Not sure where he's at now. He may have been at ISU prior to Rhoads, I can't remember.

Agree....young, skilled, confident. Love these guys recruiting, too.

That is probably what I'm thinking of
No, Ernst also does group fitness workouts and private player development through Premier Athlete Training. My son worked out with him and Ben several times when my son was working to get a college FB scholly.

I love the Broomfield hire and wanted it the whole time, but I would be lying if I didn’t think for a second “you know who is a good DB coach who is available....Paul Rhoads”. I am not sure that could have worked though lol.

The Doc Sadler plan. Yeah, not so much here.

I feel like Manning had a great year last year, and one more gets him a look as a head coach. Then Nate can move into our OC spot.

Yeah, if I wasn't clear about it in the other post, I'd be very happy if Eli Rasheed is our next DC. He's done great work with the defensive line, and he's been with Campbell for a long time. It just makes a ton of sense.

If Scheelhaase stays around, I think he's eventually going to be the OC if Manning moves on again.
So when is Heacock leaving again?

Now I'm worried. I'm going to look up his age.
