Are they going to do that also for the people who live in houses around the stadium that have people over to tailgate before the game?
Of course not. But how many people would have a party with 1000 people like the haunted forest is planning on doing. That is not an apples to apples comparison

I refuse to support the Haunted Forest. I gave them a lot of money over the years and they put nothing back into the lot. Just a complete weed infested $hit hole.

This just goes to show you that a lot of people just don’t get it still.

These “adults” are no better than all the students who’ve been partying it up and risking the football season.

It’s no wonder our country is where it is.

If I'm being honest I'm kinda looking forward to hosting my own "tailgate" at home with maybe a few friends where I can watch the game from the comfort of my own home and not having the headache of packing and unpacking.

And I guarantee the University isn't going to worry about what a private entity is doing. They only went to no tailgating in University lots to cover their own butts.

Not exactly sure.
I don't think the university can do anything. The city or county could.

If they wanted to be dicks about it, there is one thing ISU could do about it possibly. Pending on where the property line is and what easements there are, ISU could shut done G6 and G7 (which they did basically all last season) to pave or repair the drive. Only access they have is through the same access 6 and 7 have. Not sure exactly who owns or what the agreements are, but have a grader come in and peel up the gravel to G6 and you effectively kill their entrance.

Do not think I am suggesting they should do this, just responding that if ISU wanted to get pisssy with them, here is their probable option.

You seem to be suggesting that the people taking advantage of the offer wouldn’t observe the social distancing provided?

I may or may not need a :jimlad: here.

That’s funny! Social distancing? I suppose next you’re going to tell me that they will be wearing masks too, right?

It's shown as a public ROW, and the stub has even been given a street name as an extension of S Riverside Dr. Once the lot paving in that area is done, S 4th will be connected to S 16th and I assume the entirety of the road that runs through the IM/G6/G7 area will be named S Riverside Dr to match the stub off S 4th and the road that goes south of S 16th.

Wonder if they straighten it out. It has a pretty tight S curve in it and a couple very low spots that they keep throwing rock into.

It'll likely get paved along with the rest of the project, so I guess they'll make whatever changes are necessary to do that.

Hard to tell, though, because that specific spot in the proposal rendering is covered.

Haunted Forest is much less of an issue (being people are outside) compared to suites and bathrooms inside JTS. Heck girls state softball had less physical distancing than Haunted Forest.

So the outrage seems misplaced IMO.

Have they posted rates for towing vehicles out of the Haunted Forest slop?

Depends on how many kybos the Haunted Forest gets and if they get sanitizing stations as well.
