One more week, can't wait to have more sun in the evening again.

Or take a nap next Sunday afternoon and problem solvedGo to bed a half hour earlier, get up a half hour later. Not that hard to adjust.
I just wish we would leave it after that. I hate winter when its already dark by 5pm in December. Would rather have more daylight after the work day is over than before it starts. One more week, can't wait to have more sun in the evening again.

Places like Detroit would have sunrise after 9am. Not saying I’m entirely against it.I've been arguing just that in this thread for almost 5 years now haha
This can't be right. Detroit isn't that far north of Des Moines. Minneapolis is further north.Places like Detroit would have sunrise after 9am. Not saying I’m entirely against it.

Remember to set your alarms an hour early this week then.I love DST so much I'm changing clocks this weekend. ******* send it.
Give me DST all year. Staying on standard time, June sunrise in Chicago would be 4:15am. It would be getting light out before 4am. What good does that do for anyone???
I like having light later in the day, when it can be used.
Personally, I could not care less what time the sun rises. I know that doesn’t work for kids waiting for buses or walking to school, that’s a tough one. For me though, because of sleep habits, I’m up before dawn every day anyway. I’d much rather it not be pitch black when I get off work at 5. In mid December here in the Chicago area, it’s full on night at 4:30 pm. That just sucks the life out of me.The western fringes of the time zones would see real late sunrises during a part of winter if we don't set our clocks back in the fall. In the western part of the central time zones there would be a short period of time in the winter where sunrise wouldn't be until after 9 a.m.
