Darth Vader story

Troy is now married to a gal who lost her husband after a long battle with cancer a few years ago. I used to work with him. Guy was a engineer and even designed a luge run in his back yard.

A lot of hate in this thread and it's not helpful. One man faced tragedy and was in denial, his extremely poor decision making led to a much greater tragedy. A much higher percentage of people on here than would ever admit it would also try and go on like nothing was wrong. Forgiveness for this man and fond memories of the victims would be most helpful for that grieving father. Revenge won't bring anyone back.

Part of being forgiven is atoning for your actions. This person hasn’t atoned and hasn’t been held accountable for their actions.

Damn, missed this thread originally. I just figured it was a college kid messing around.

Cool of gameday to do a feature on it.

Did his wife die too? For some reason I thought I remember that, but that never gets mentioned.

They did say he remarried....I don't think she died? It's possible the grief was too much for them to stay together, which happens.

Yeah I know he remarried. I thought I recalled the wife and 2 kids passing in the accident. Just was curious.

Quick google search turned this up. Looks like she survived the accident, guessing they just couldn't make it work after. Not that it matters.

I missed this.

Until just now... holy balls. That hits deep.
