I don’t think it is nearly as “short” as many people believe.
The list starts and ends with TJ.

It's amazing how many posters on here know the coaches' wives so well, and how they feel about Ames.

If, and it's a big if, he can line up a new position for next year, he might resign instead of waiting to be fired. Just negotiate so no buy out is required by the new landing spot. Prohm misses out on some money from ISU, but saves money for his future employer who would then pay him more going forward.Yep, he's just going to give up millions to "look better", even though everyone would know he got fired regardless. Like I said, fantasy land.
So, given this inside information, JP's short list is likely 'very' short by now. Any idea on his mega short list?
July 1st = Bobby Bonilla Day
ME! I'm taking the job for $100,000 and spending the rest on assistants. also 5 yr contract and buy out is just however many yrs is left on the contract.
Hopefully CW bumps this up the chain to JP and it comes to fruition. I would be a happy guy.

Did TJ know that the beat writer was exciting her?Alison was documented to be excited by one of the beat writers on here when TJ came back to Ames in 2015.
Parlay that into a 20MM NBA contract and just roll the ball out, get fired after 2 seasons and just fade away. Sounds like living the dream to me.Not a bad idea. Take the 6 figures, live very well, pay amazing assistants 7 and sit back and watch the winning.

For once I just want to get paid millions, get fired, and then get paid millions at my next gig and the one after that despite never actually improving.
Lane kiffin comes to mind. He just keeps jumping around and being average then taking a pay increase to be average again.
That dude has mastered that particular game. It's magical.
