I think he’s just doing it on a “when they need help and I feel like it” basis- I’ve seen Metinka Slater filling in a couple of times on WHO in the last few weeks. I think WHO is trying to push most of their full time meteorologists to fill the Roger Riley type role now that he’s retired, and it’s causing them to lose people as it’s not the job they signed up forThat retirement didn't last long. Dang, that is going to leave a lot of prime anchor spots to fill as she pretty much is the 1 anchor WHOTV has that is not in some kind of schedule rotation and fills those spots almost every night. Erin is already taking off this summer to spend time with her family too. My guess is some of the younger new talent like Lindsey Burrell and Adriana Torres take those time slots but then someone will have to fill the daytime newscasts too. The TV market seems to be wearing out people sooner these days. We probably will never see another John Bachman or Kevin Cooney again. I'm surprised Fales covers as many night newscasts as he does as he stepped away from the morning anchor to be with his family but the night shift isn't that much easier on the family life too I bet.Jennay Towne leaving...
