I'm planning on having my kids out their to play on Cy's House the day it opens so they are grandfathered in every year. That way their kids and grandkids can keep playing on it while everyone else has to hope and pray they get drawn in the Cy's House lottery every year for a one time shot to play...
I think what's not talked enough with this project is the amount of greenspace created. Well done
He has his quirks and made mistakes but the guy had done an amazing job. He deserves serious credit for us being where we are.
The hotel is truly a gamechanger for Ames!
The amount of wedding parties, at the alumni center, who can now book a hotel within walking distance is awesome for long term viability! This will also open up more business events at ISU and Ames for smaller conventions, concerts, and festivals

Yes, it's already started. For the Arizona game, they are moving Johnny's there and going forward with a covered walkway to Hilton.
I love the idea to put the ISU creamery store in CyTown!
This looks great and the plan is very well done. Love all the details they have added - Cy's House Playground, the mini field, Cylo, Cyclone branded hotel, etc. Really ties everything together. Also great plan on ideas for increasing traffic to Cytown on non-game days too.
Pollard and Light District
Can't wait to drunkenly piss on the backside of these beautiful buildings at 8am on a crisp Saturday. Looks really good to be honest. Things can still change but looks good now.
