Huge event get for CyTown - Boys Basketball Tournament coming to Hilton / CyTown

Great for the city of Ames. Great for ISU. Great for businesses at CyTown. Bad for Iowa fans

This is perfect!!

I stand corrected. Looks like last year they were the same week but this year and previous years were the week after. I would assume they just schedule it the week after regular season ends.
Dang so Otz will be busy in the NCAA tournament/conference tournament whilst all these potential instate recruits are in town lol. We need to clone otz

It didn't look like a building that would take two years to build but I am basing that on nothing. Maybe they will pause during football season or to allow more parking or something?

A good first step in extracting more revenue from one of our most competitive attributes- gathering to drink while cheering on Iowa State

This has to succeed. It’s not normally something that fits what JP does well, so hopefully he’s leaning on others in the execution of this

People give him a lot of crap but he's the architect (pun intended) of ISUs success. He is the goat (the animal science goat club should have a herd of goats to eat grass around campus and the athletic areas to cut down on landscaping costs (is there a goat club? there should be))

Can you remind me what other commercial development JP has been a part of?

Jamie is from Wisconsin. The Packers also have a medical clinic in their Title Town from which some ideas were drawn for CyTown. McFarland Clinic expects this clinic to have 800 patients per day. That foot traffic is needed for the other CyTown businesses. Brilliant!
