If that happened in Ames, Campbell would have given him the old Woody Hayes punch to the throat.I hope they carry him off the field on their shoulders after the big win against UMASS.

I need a cigarette after reading through that thread, LOLNice post!
That was a long a detailed explanation of exactly how Iowa has come to be known throughout the nation as the 'Fake ID of College Football'.

Pollard, Campbell and Goetz
A lot of season left to play and who knows just how long Kirk wants to keep going. But I tend to think he is nearing the end. One thing that crossed my mind. Anyone ever hear Pollard talk about his future? He's only 60, but he's the second longest tenured AD in P4. Does he want to be a...forum.hawkeyenation.com
I know I know, we don't wanna give this trash traffic. But another thread on asking Campbell to coach at Iowa, and this one is a little different.
We broke them.
It's funny the meaningless Iowa/UMass game has been scheduled for 6:30pm. Iowa is lucky they did that since it's going to be very hot day. Otherwise, I think we'd see a lot of empty seats.

I'm curious about all this money they think ISU has? This is gold, pure gold
It's super secret from donors that don't actually care about ISU sports.I'm curious about all this money they think ISU has?

If he can get a few sacks by the end of this season, hell yes. Making plays in the face of constant double/triple teams is what the scouts are looking for.First rounder?
Right now I’d call it an edge. Iowas WRs are bad. Especially without Vanderzee. Ours have shown flashes, but that’s it. They need to be a lot more consistent if they are going to be a real threat. Iowa bracketed the TEs and our WRs did pretty much nothing against single coverage.Iowa State has more than an edge at WR. We’re better at every position than them outside OL.
This discussion should be plastered in every tavern and small town bar. This week was a watershed moment. The best line was when the administrator said can you imagine Campbell laughing when he got that call and that Beth would not doit to save herself the embarrassment. When you have the opinion leaders doing this, you are right, we broke them. It’s funny when Breeces Five Star players vs. Five Star culture has totally gone over their head.![]()

Big Citrus is another great example of why it makes sense for most of ISU's best players to remain at ISU, even though their NIL package is likely smaller than what they can get at the SEC/Big 10 schools.First rounder?
F'n fun read. Ames > IC and JP> GB all over it.![]()

It’s catching the ball and making the play. They got open, the ball was there, catch it.Right now I’d call it an edge. Iowas WRs are bad. Especially without Vanderzee. If they are gullible to think we have a couple of billionaires bankrolling us, then probably they would believe that two more billionaires watched the game and are going to help out too.The fact that they think that is the only possible reason for our increased success is laughable but not surprising. The coaches we have are all about culture building and development. Something that has been lost at Iowa recently.
