Cyhawk postgame thread

Last year they went to NYC. Same difference, miserable bowl game.

Just tell them win or lose every week will be a new Big 10 record for Kirky.

I usually try to stay neutral to start with- like 'every week is different' until they get obnoxious and then I either pretend they don't exist or point out something they don't know or want to hear like that Hayden Fry had one really good team ever.

Im curious how many of Kirk's wins were against unranked teams. He made a killing off the awful Big 10 west.

Saw a tweet from someone breaking it down and it makes it less impressive. And he has 64 more losses than the guy he passed

Hawkeye fans can't handle Cyclones fans enjoying their team. They believe everyone's world revolves around the Iowa Hawkeyes. It truly breaks their brains.

Second time this weekend I’ve gotten chirped at lol. Family member was ass hurt and made an Ames comment on Friday.

Them becoming second fiddle is hurting their fragile egos.

My brother and I both live out of state and occasionally get together in our small town area of eastern Iowa; everything is Hawk stuff. The bars, the gas stations, the sweet corn stand outside of Hy-Vee.

Add in all of the news coverage and it's quite literally indoctrination that everything in the world is based around them and any loss isn't possible without some sort of miracle or weather or something.

Prime example: KCRG didn't have a single thing about CyHawk basketball when ISU smothered them in 2021 at Hilton.

If ISU were to actually get to the CFP before them I would bet several small town bars wouldn't even show it.
