Since we haven't played were out of sight, out of mind. I think we'll move up to No. 11

What a wild couple of weeks it has been. I still think our SoS and lack of playing this week keeps us from sliding up too far, but who knows. With all of the losses though, there should be plenty of movement. A single digit ranking would be nice, but we'll have to see.

I need explanations here. How can you predict anything above #9?

Yeah I don't get that at all.

We were #12... #9 Texas, #10 Kansas, and #11 Wichita State all lost games to lesser opponents... and the biggest threat to leapfrog us (#13 Washington) did so as well.

#9 seems like a very clear frontrunner if you have been paying attention.

Are you asking for logic when it comes to rankings? There is no logic it's all a crapshoot.

People are expecting us to move up 3 spots without even playing? We'll move up 1 to 11.

Who cares about rankings? I came here just to post that.

But seriously. Going with 10. Just because 3 teams ahead of us lost and we didn't doesn't mean we move up 3 spots. It should mean that, but voters.

I sure don't understand his logic, but Seth Davis Tweeted his Top 25 last night:

1. UK 2. Duke 3. Wisc 4. Lou 5. Gonz 6. Va 7. Nova 8. Ariz 9. Tex 10. Utah 11. NDame 12. Md 13. Okl 14. Iowa St 15. St. John's 16. UNC

Somebody jumped him about ISU dropping, and he tweeted:

I love Iowa State. I just don't like you. RT @EthanNarber: Do you not like Iowa State or something? We DROP in the rankings? El. Oh. El.

ISU will be #9 in the new polls.

Now that we have that out of the way... who endured the misery of watching the Kentucky - Louisville game? For two of the top 4 teams in the country that game made my eyes bleed. The quality of shooting in that game was about as good as a junior high girls B-squad game. It was pretty much unwatchable. That was the kind of game that makes even Big Ten basketball games look exciting. Woof!

A full week without Hoiball was made even more difficult by watching that brickfest. Wednesday can't get here fast enough... I need to see some 3's, dunks, and fast breaks.

His vote on Dec 21 has ISU #16, and his vote from last night has ISU #14, so he bumped us up 2 spots from what I see.

I am about 75% sure we'll be #9, and 25% sure we'll be #10. As far as I can tell there is a 0% chance of any other scenario occuring.
