I caught the second half of the Magic v Pacers summer league game. It looks like Ejim held his own and the commentators were praising the way he played. I know he had 11pts-7reb-3ast in the first game and 12pts-7reb-3ast-1stl this game. He has started both games and looks to be getting the most minutes. Good start of the Summer league for Ejim!

Sounds great!

What are normal stat lines like for summer games? Is it like the CCL where 15 points is more like 5 in a real game?

I'm not really positive. But it definitely is more competitive than CCL. not many people scoring more than the high-teens. These guys are playing for jobs so the Defense has to be a bigger pat of the game than CCL. From what I can tell, Ejims stats are towards the top of the teams stats.

I don't think so since they try to give out minutes pretty evenly thus no one gets a lot of minutes. Those are pretty good stat lines.

royce barely played yesterday. I think the coach got mad at him a one point. him and garett play tomorrow at 4 i believe

Everyone there is playing for an NBA job, it's 10 minute quarters, and these guys were mostly top 10% college players.

What he's doing isn't really playing, it's kind of just being on the court and getting in the way.

Yeah he's been basically a no-show through two games, Clippers fans were trying to talk themselves into him too as they have no depth out there.

he hasn't played real organized basketball in months, I can understand him not being in the flow of his team right way. Hopefully it gets better. If not it adds to the backstory of one of the biggest draft busts. Love Royce and hope he does well, though.

While Royce is a bust, he is nowhere near one of the biggest draft busts.

Agreed. He's looked fine when the ball is in his hands and he can take a defender 1-on-1 and distribute (like he did in college), but it's brutal to watch him on offense otherwise.

Not really an apples to apples comparison, the completion is pretty level across each team with NBAD league type talent and rookies (best of the college ranks) unlike the CCL where the ISU players could be going against DIII or worse players on any given night and numbers can be skewed easily. With everyone fighting for a couple of open roster spots the pressure is on to perform enough to get a camp invite.
The major benefit is the teams are usually have current assistants coaching the squads and each team Head Coaches and GM's are usually in attendance to watch their play and practice live. Really good opportunity to impress for 40 minutes a day for a couple of weeks.
Ejim and Garrett have looked pretty good so far. Royce needs to pick it up though he at least looks in shape.

Here's the link to the box scores for today:

Sounds like he is off to a good start - thanks for the info.

He better get some pozzazz soon or he will be in the music feeding line again. Music is not selling that well anymore. Too much spotify.
