I was thinking the same thing, why waste one of their events on an open tourney.
I actually think they have to right? True freshman can’t wrestle unattached during 1st semester.

Who’s in charge of that account? Is that David’s role or, functionally, what does do other than train with the guys?
David doesn't run the social media. I think his primary role is to train and fundraise for the C&G
Any reports on how that’s going? I assume he’s a home run in shmoozing people for dough.
David was in Hawaii recently from what I gathered on his Instagram. Not sure if he’s back yet or not.

It's worth getting past the commercials to listen to Dresser. I'll summarize in part:
Terukina (neck) will hopefully be able to go this weekend. Same with Evan Frost (flu). Redding (knee) is out until Jan. Ech (high ankle sprain) until late Jan. Bastida might wrestle this weekend. Bockman (rib), Gaitain (hip) maybes too. Wt cut for Osmany to 125 was tough so they put him in at 133. Talks at length about Cuban connection and the challenges those wrestlers have had.
