Cyclone Theme for Firefox 3.0

You bet, Nick, happy to do so.

I use OS XP Home, SP2, Firefox 3.0. Downloaded your theme from the Firefox Add-on site. Seems to be working fine. (Got a question later about bookmarks, they're managed differently than the 2.X version of Firefox, it looks like.)

Hmm... I'm not sure about the menu font issue. At what resolution is your monitor set? Would you mind posting a screenshot of how the browser appears?

Yes, I will. I rarely do this sort of thing, so give me a little time to gather the info. Screen shot is easy with Photoshop, but I have to upload to my ISP personal Web page to post the jpg here, correct?

(I've not uploaded pics here before; or, should I send the jpg to you directly via email here? Maybe that's what I should do.)

You can upload pictures to cyclonefanatic - use the paperclip attachment button to upload a jpg. I also sent you a PM with my email address if you prefer that.

Also, for those who are having problems with the theme, would you be willing to post what operating system and browser version you are using? I have only tested it on Vista so comments from anybody on XP, a Mac, or any other operating system would be great.
I had problems uploading the .zip/.jar file on XP. No problems like CyValley has had since I uploaded it from the mozilla site though. I love the skin.

What are the chances of getting the theme that had the players walking down to the field with the lightning on it? I think you did this in addition to the basic one? I really like that one, but that's just me.

I went to one of the mozilla websites and downloaded it from there in about 20 seconds and just had to restart the browser for it to pop up and looks freakin sweet

Is there any other way to save it as a .jar. I can't get it to save properly.

I'm on a Mac and I tried to download it off the website but it says no Mac versions are available. Others have said it works for Macs so maybe I'm just an idiot

So far, I've noticed it only in replying to posts here. Maybe v.3.0 isn't sitting well with my PC. It was new in February, I update the OS and other stuff, so it should be good to go, I'd think.

Is 3.0 beta, or a full release? Hey, thanks, Cyclone62.

(I just randomly typed a hundred characters or so, and it's not doing it now. Go figure, I guess. . . .) Nick's theme colors are cool, I must say. It's just the menu type face (or point size). . . .

Same thing with me.

Nice theme but I was wondering if there is a way for me to set the Hilton button to load Cyclonefanatic insted of the Iowa State homepage, as thats currently my homepage anyways?

Thanks for the theme!

I just downloaded and installed the theme. the Hilton icon went to my previously set home page and never to iowa states site.

ahh ok well then I suppose Hilton = homepage button.

Please ignore stupid question of a tired Flag Guy

Thanks for all the helpful suggestions, everybody. I'm currently relaxing on vacation in Southern Indiana, so I won't get around to making the updates til this weekend. In the meantime, if anybody has a Mac and wants me to send you the jar file directly, just PM with your email address. Also, please keep the suggestions coming so I can try to do it all in one big update this weekend. (once the theme gets approved on Firefox's site, it should automatically notify everybody using the theme when there is an update).
