Current CBS Projection has me curious

Concession stands were selling turkey legs. Never will forget how well they tasted with a cold beer.
I stopped at a tailgate tent and ate a bowl of gumbo prepared in a 55 gallon barrel over an open fire, it was excellent. Tent group was next to a 42’ flatbed trailer with tents, fires & crazy Mardi Gras *hi* going on. That area was filled with local Shreveport LSU fans who take that Bowl game as an opportunity to tailgate. The scene was right up there with Morgantown.

So, is Big 12 winner (Utah projected here) #3 or #4? They have them #4 in upper (2nd round) and #3 in lower (1st round).
Yeah, the P4 conference winners all get the top 4 seeds and the big 10/sec will get 1/2 in some order so the ACC and Big 12 will fight it out for 3/4.

There were so many LSU fans tailgating to cheer against alabama. Johnny Orr, the hype man himself, talking **** with crowds all day haha. It was a great bowl game experience with the one obvious exception.

That kick was good. We got robbed that game. However, the goal post were shorter than usual as it was in some small stadium in Memphis or Alabama.
Shreveport, LA. We drove straight through. Had 3 car loads of my friends. Senior year I believe. We had a lot of friendly banter with the Bama fans before the game. It was a blast until the last seconds.

Yeah you’re right about the LSU fans motivation. The gumbo in the 55 gallon drum was being stirred with a boat oar by a large human. He told me he grew up in a small rural town in NW Missouri not far from where I live, he played offensive line for LSU. I’d never thought about how the Mardi Gras spirit would influence LSU tailgating but it might be on my bucket list.

Hahahaha. I was waiting for that, and almost said as such myself.
I would love an ISU first round game with PSU. I say that b/c PSU always seems to have a mediocre to sluggish offense.

Also, I don't think there are many corner tandems across the country who can contain Noel and Higgins. Those two are just bona fide NFL draft picks.

Fwiw today:

Massey composite: 8
Massey: 9
Sagarin: 11

Our Sagarin has matched our AP rank every week so far.

If we still had the bcs ranking that Massey composite is good indicator we’d be 8th in the computer 1/3 of it.

I know it's all cart-before-horse'ing, but I'm curious:
* When would a decision be made (how many days in advance of the game)?
* Who decides?
I’m guessing there are plans being tentatively put in place now just in case. Blum has hinted at it.

If I’m being honest I’d rather host one of those CFP games than go to one of the stupid neutral sites
Unfortunately they likely would make us “host” at US Bank due to the “threat” of inclimate weather.
