"Court in bad condition"

The court was fine. But... yeah there were dust bunnies floating down all game. It was weird you'd be sitting there and see a big dust bunny float down right in front of you. I've sat courtside since they started it and never seen it before. I figured the heat got really cranked up due to cold and knocked some dust loose. With that said the players weren't slipping or having any issues. The cheerleaders poms dropping pieces give them more problems.

I swear to god this website has the worst collective sense of humor I've ever seen.

I like to think I'm a creative and persuasive writer. I mean come on, have you ever been to Monster Jam? Some people really take that seriously. Its something about all that diesel and power. Oooooooh the power.

It's not like we freaking set off fireworks like Mizzou did before a game against us. Still can believe that was allowed.

Is this a joke? If not, dumb decision by Pollard.

Pollard said in an interview that they didn't include it when they replaced the floor because that was right around when it looked like the conference might fall apart. But that it'll be added back in at some point.

Yes, when they replaced the floor they decided not to add the logo just to have to remove it when the conference collapsed.

They made the same decision this summer not to add the logo, just to have to update it to the new conference logo next summer.

Expect to see the new Big 12 logo on the floor for next season.

I think I read somewhere that when the new logo debuts this fall, there is a brand agreement of some sort with all of the schools meaning that the basketball court and football field must have the conference logo and all team jerseys must also have the conference logo. Pretty much every other major conference (even the AAU) does this already.

I'm guessing it had something to do with the gymnastics meet. Somebody did just not do a good enough job of mopping the floor after that meet.

Under which basket was the part of the floor he was complaining about?

Baylor warmed up on the far end (which would have been covered by the mat for the floor routine, but dirt might have come from the springboards underneath).

If it was the end in front of their bench, there would have been lots of chalk on the ground during the gymnastics meet because that is where they get ready for vault, beam, and bars.
