That was such a long time ago, the whole thing really needs to be reassessed. Back when gaming became opt-in/out, mafia was the only long time running thread. Now we have 10 daily music threads of different varieties, random thoughts thread, etc. Why should mafia be the only one excluded?
Say I don't drink beer, or care about your lists of random music videos that start with the letter 'h'. Should we make new forums for them so people can opt in/out on talking about music?
I say either remove Gaming entirely or just make it a normal forum. It's obvious why you can opt out of politics, but making gaming the only other one that follows such rules is idiotic.
