The only place you can go at Ohio State or ND is down.
Probably around 6-8. Several are in that 120-140 range for big ten and SEC schools. We are just starting to catch the lower P5 schools with the 90s
I think JP will throw the kitchen sink at Campbell. If Campbell leaves, I have no doubt it will not be because Pollard wouldn’t give him something he wants.
It would be interesting to ask Jamie about the financial impact of being really good at football is. Let’s say we are able to sustain this level (top 15) for another couple of years. What would be the estimated impact to ISU athletics?

What can happen is the lower end seats start going up in price. You see like a 50% in donor requirements to stay in the current spots. Those things along with a 50-100 season ticket bump for non students and a 10-20 bump in student tickets would generate 5-10MM in revenue. May get some larger donors who want their name on things or suites go way up. You could bump 10-25 million off continual years like this if you throw in a conference title one time.
This was like, ten years ago, but I’m sure it hasn’t changed and maybe has even widened the gap, but there was something like only 6 schools with FBS football programs where football wasn’t the main revenue generator. I think Kansas and Duke had basketball out generate. Maybe UMass? I can’t remember all of the schools, but almost everywhere, regardless of how good the basketball is and how bad the football is, football still generates more revenue.
While I do think Jamie wants to keep Matt, I don't think he'd do a 50% bump in donor requirements to keep seats... that's big. Jamie is, if nothing else, loyal back to the fans that have been loyal through all the ups and downs. I see him trying to raise money everywhere else before making that big of a jump. That being said, I'll gladly give another $10 per ticket or so on my season tickets to keep the staff.
Anybody know what kind of bonuses Campbell gets for this year based on contractual elements of reaching the title game and winning a NY6?
I live out of state, but am considering getting season tickets. I'll be happy to make a donation for this kind of aura.
I said before.. Get Matt up to the $4.5 tp $5 mill range. The rest goes to keeping the assistants. That would be very similar to the TOE... not to mention ISU is trending better than they are.
Yeah, even though everyone claims he's not interested in the money, you've got to get him up there with his peers.
His buyout has been creeping down (as it should), one dreams that the buyout would increase again though

I get what you are saying and agree to an extent. But we are nearing big boy football territory. Which is expensive.
I think a campaign to get more lower dollar donors is the way to go. Try to get non-donors to donate $100 or $250. Try to get $100 donors to $500. And $500 donors to $1,000 donors.
