They're not good, but not one to sleep on.

There's obviously a gap in them being out of the Big 12 and history doesn't equal the current season but I can't remember the last time an ISU tesm won in Boulder...2000?

I drove to Norman OK in 2017 and watched Iowa State beat Oklahoma with our 5th year, 3rd string QB who up to that point had thrown a total of 5 passes in his entire college career.

If someone wants to start up a GoFundMe to send me to Boulder on Saturday, I will rearrange my schedule for next weekend.

Colorado QB Salter likes to throw at weird arm angles that got him into trouble last night. I think we really missed Hansen catching the ball out of the backfield in the second half. Hopefully defense figures things out. I like our chances but we will see.

I have never seen Iowa State win a road or neutral site game in person. I’ll be in attendance Saturday.

Sorry guys
A winless team beat a top 10 team for the first time in like 40 years yesterday. It's a year of streaks being broken :-)

And those losses were all sorts of ways.

2002 - Seneca fumbled 3 times, one of which was returned for a TD. Lost by 14.
2004 - 0-5 in the red zone with missed FG of 22 and 25. Mason Crosby made a 54 and a 60. Lost by 5.
2006 - Mac's last road game. Lost by 17.
2008 - ran a short-side option from the 1 on the last play and got stuffed. Lost by 4.
2010 - CU's first game with interim coach after Hawkins got fired. Arnaud got hurt. Lost by 20.

Wonder if Deion will be coaching this weekend? Hoping his health is fine.
Damn, he's been through a lot health wise these last 3-4 years. His call obviously but may be time to just go and rest and relax. I know he loves to fish.

Colorado is just a tough place to place regardless of sport.
Is it really though? They don't have particularly big, rowdy crowds for either football or basketball. It also isn't a difficult to get to travel issue. All they have is altitude. And given the lack of success they have had in football and basketball the last couple decades, lots of teams are rolling into Boulder and leaving with a W at altitude. But for whatever reason, ISU hasn't been able to figure it out.

ISU hasn't played football there since 2010 (and so hasn't had a lot of.opportunity to figure it out). I would agree they have not enjoyed an abundance of success in Boulder going way back before that, though.

MBB got it done back in December. Let's keep that momentum going.
