Collegiate Duals

It being dangerous is a joke. Wrestlers have cut significantly more weight and been thrown out there hundreds of thousands of times. Might have looked like Slaton vs Fanthorpe, but it being for health reasons thing is nonsense.

If the cut was that bad and they were being responsible with his health, they would have stopped the weight cut 2-3 pounds over instead of letting him continue all the way to weight.
Email Dresser he's always open to reading suggestions

I don’t have a suggestion for him. Just for the posters on this board to look in the mirror regarding ducking.

think it’s time to end the ducking talk. These are D1 wrestlers who deal with constant injuries, sickness, and weight issues.

Just the way it is. The time of wrestling through minor injuries, illness, and bad weight cuts is a thing of the past.
So is Evan’s bad weight cut ducking or just the way it is ?

I think it’s just the way it is. What im saying is we need consistency. If KOT ducked Carr in the dual, then Frost ducked Knox. No difference.

In this case (Frost's non-wrestle against Stanford) and others, you've basically substituted your judgment for Dresser and the coaching staff.

Cornell guys wrestled earlier in the day then sat against us. They were healthy. You can say Frost was ducking if you want but you can’t compare the two situations.
I agree with this, particularly related to Ramirez. Since he beat David earlier at CKLV, he was protecting his NCAA seeding by ducking the rematch. Which ended up working out as he got the 3 seed. However, as we all know, everything ended up working out in the end with Carr winning it all. But the strategy of Cornell to duck this dual last year played out. I think it has been well communicated that Frost was sick and/or struggling with his cut early in the year. These are two very different sceneries.

I still don’t get burning Herrera‘s shirt unless they are positive Yonger is done for the year.

I wonder if we don't see Yonger right from the start and see how that goes and if all is well keep wrestling him. If something isn't right then Herrera gets thrown out there and the decision is made that Yonger is done for the year
