Getting upset about the media throwing out of context quotes is like getting upset that the dog eats food that dropped on the floor.
Tommy Birch don't belong in the same room as his hookers because they have to much class for him.
While I don't think ISU will necessarily sweep OU, I would agree that ISU should at least beat them at home. OU did not look good against Memphis, and that was a home game. Towards the end of the game, they really got exposed by Memphis picking up the pace and playing in transition (which I would say is an ISU strength right now). I would also agree that Cincy > OU without much discussion to be had.
Yeah it's the Register's fault Morris, Long, and whoever else is running their mouth. Poor clones; always getting picked on.
I'm hoping that Naz and Monte find it in themselves to have a players meeting to talk about how the effort by the 6 seniors is not where it needs to be...6 of these players hvae 20 games or so left in their career..Time to start playing like it..I think the level of talent on this team is enough to get to the tourney but that has to include a couple upsets now in conf play..time to wake up boys.
The good news is it is December not February..And often times these things are taken out of context..I"m sure no i know Bowie and Morris are correct in that ISU playing their A game on both ends and Iowa nor Drake belong on court with them. But they didnt bring their A game and the other teams did.
Pretty easy to take a quote out of context which sounds like what happened.
Id love to hear the audio, because I dont know how you can take that quote out of context. He literally said that Drake didn't belong on the same floor with ISU.
I don't think so - it was arrogant and disrespectful.. Can you picture a player on, say, Villanova or Michigan State saying that? Please.
Ya I'm not really sure what is more *****-like. Posting that kind of stuff on social media or worrying about the stuff being posted in social media on an internet message board.
How did the DM Register take the quote of context? They literally provided the whole context in the article, lol. Tommy Birch might have, but twitter also has a 140 character limit, so that tends to happen.

If ISU would just play with a little effort they'd score 100 on offense every game and hold their opponent to 40. I just don't understand why it's still so hard to be great on offense and defense and free throw shooting and three point shooting. Fire Prohm.
