I have heard the conspiracies. Some of the louder voices here have an echo on other boards. Congrats Jeremy, your name is even mentioned in those conspiracies...... which are a little far fetched to even be believable.

So some think Jeremy is part of the conspiracy? Lol

While I have no inside knowledge of the coaching search, what Jeremy says is what I experience in my company. People don't always know what is going on behind the scenes and try to fill in the gaps with only public information.

This, F'ing this....it's that way in every company, every large organization, there's secrets all over the place. It's not because people are shady, or trying to sneak stuff...it's because when millions of dollars are on the line, you keep things quiet until some clarity is found.

On top of that...how many Jamie Pollard coaching searches have we been thru now? Yet, this one...this one right here, despite all of the previous ones...this one is the one where all the information will be leaked and made public.

I mean, I'm not going to say that Otz won't be the coach...but I'm not dumb enough to think I know what Jamie's doing behind the scenes just by what's been floating out there. He might well be hired, but that doesn't mean he was the only one considered, or it was a foregone conclusion.

Honestly, based on previous searches, as of now, I'm putting my money on someone OTHER than TJ or Horny.

I got to go to 1/2 dozen of Eustachy's games this year. What that guy does with 1/3 of the talent that ISU has is amazing. I have no doubt everyone would be happy with what he would do at ISU except maybe him. Would have to be tough to shake all the ghosts and skeletons back out of the closet.

I bet it would be funnier than hell to see what kind of banter he got going with the greek though.

Then, again, I would say JP's future rests with the success of next years team, whatever coach is hired, if the team performs way below expectations (ie sweet 16 minimum?), then he made the wrong coaching decision because we have a top ten team in talent! Otz would also be on the line!! Fred left it this way, they best perform!
