So, does anyone with real information know the "serious" candidates Pollard is considering? I would imagine TJ is on that list, and would hope Hornacek is.

IMO the Realistic list is JH and TJ...If JH says he's not interested then it's TJ.

Add Hornacek, and I'd be fine with any of the three. Still not ruling out TJ, though he is more of an unknown commodity as far as head coach. Perfect world I'd like one of the first three with TJ as the heir apparent.

I can't watch games in the 50's anymore. The offense we ran made us different than other schools. Need to keep that style

Hornacek needs to be the top 5 options. If a whole bunch of efforts fail, look at experienced head coaches.

If 850 people say no, hire TJ and say that's the best we can do.

I'd love to get him, but chances are he'll cost too much. His average salary is now $3.3 million.

Larry averaged 72 last year, only 5 under Fred.

If Hornacek and Marshall aren't seriously considered it's because they either don't want the job or because we can't pay them what they want, hence the reason the finalists are more than likely current assistants somewhere or mid-major head coaches.

Pollard talked with a search firm, according to this article at least. Don't know why he'd talk with a search firm if Otzelberger was his guy no matter what.
