Late to the game. In terms of wants, Beilein and Moser are at the top of my list. I think Moser could come in and have an impact that is similar to Beard immediately (competitive with lesser talent due to scheme). But, have been told there is not much mutual interest.

Think TJ is the pick.

I mean I feel like I'm beating a dead horse here but Moser's resume is garbage. Lots of ways you can do a clean break with a better candidate. I'll support whoever our next coach is but I'd be very disappointed if it was him

The only way I’ll truly be excited about TJ other than him simply not being Steve is if TJ gets the job one month from now (meaning the decision at least seems to be thought out and other candidates were serious), AND TJ / Jamie sell the hire. I want to hear from Jamie and why he believes TJ is the guy and I want to hear from TJ how he’s going to change the entire culture here.

I know that TJ will say things that we want to hear, but it’ll be nice to hear someone different than Prohm say “we gotta do a better job at boxing out” lol.

If Pollard announces TJ is the next coach in the next week, I’ll be disappointed. I’ll obviously be excited for something new, but I’ll be skeptical and worried we’ll yield similar results to last years team.

Is tomorrow the big day or are we going to have to wait a week. Guessing with Polard on the Committee he will do it tomorrow so he can concentrate on picking the field. Meanwhile working the phones on breaks. I think now would be a perfect time to go after a black coach. I like the Cleveland State guy and Anthony Grant. Might actually make it easier to recruit in Ames that way also. They both also have good systems in place now.

I think it’ll be tomorrow. Let the guys get back from KC and then make the announcement so Jamie doesn’t have to this weekend. If it’s not tomorrow, I think it’ll be sometime Saturday or Sunday.

He’s currently one of the most up and coming coaches in CBB. If he succeeds again next year I could see him being the most sought after coach on the market. He’s like a Campbell. He does more with less.

Prohm was not one of the most sought after. He couldn’t even land the Bama job in 2015. He had never done more with less.

Gates has significant experience in high major basketball. Prohm had none.

I mean we aren’t close to the “search” point yet and everyone is acting like JP has said he isn’t doing a “search”, like he just sits around all day and doesn’t have a working list.
