Wasn't Austin also an actor for a little while, or am I confusing him with another former Cyclone defensive back?

Why?

Is he an Eagles fan?
Does his mom live in Philadelphia?
Just wanting to get into the NFL?
Didn't get enough of the $3m for assistants?

Why wouldn't he want to stay with the great CB's and recruits we have, as well as the opportunity to be with a successful team?

I can’t wait to see who CMC gets- I bet there’s a lot of good coaches who want to jump on the Cyclone train this year.
What an incredible turn of events- now our football team is a place where a coach would be excited to go.

There’s a lot of people who want to coach at the highest level, which is the NFL. Sure there’s also a lot who prefer the college game... but I’m not sure how anyone could question someone wanting to go to the NFL.

Actually if you read his bio on cyclones.com, he does have a Pennsylvania background.

So help me understand the forum rules. If I go into a recruiting forum I will only read about recruiting and not coaches I wonder why @Cydkar selectively chooses which forums to police and who appointed said user.
I call out little brother posts. It's my jam.

He was also a groomsman in the new Eagles head coach's wedding

I read his BIO. Like this dude a lot. I didn't really follow ISU when he played, but he could also reinforce how far the program has come, and what it takes to have sustained success here - and other places as well. Teams he has been associated with just seem to have that winning mentality and a strong culture.

He also seems (perhaps seemed - this article is old) to be the type of guy that would fit the culture at ISU.

He also has Florida Recruiting ties. We pull a lot of kids from Florida. This can't hurt!

I absolutely LOVE this comment from CF from 2011. Seems like a guy I can root for.

Atif is a good option and I should have had him on my list. I think Saia might be the first call though. He is a former Campbell assistant and has been pretty good at SEMO as DC. I don’t know for sure he would give up the DC role at a smaller level to be a P5 position coach even though it would be a substantial raise.

He probably would. It's all resume building and the combination would be good for any future move he wants to make.

I'm very interested to see how Campbell replaces DK. One of the biggest faults of previous coaches have been their ability to replace good assistants. Those decisions were make, and usually break for them. I have full faith in Campbell though.
