Just was looking at Rivals today and he has been down graded to a 3 star from a 4 star, must be cause he committed to ISU!! :plaugh:

I saw that as well, but he went from 98th to 101st, so that was the cause for change in stars. Vaughn is now 6th

That is what he gets for leading his team to an undefeated season and state championship! Plus - he only scored 21 in the championship, which was 8 points less than the other team! That seems 3-star worthy to me!

This definitely undermines the amount of talent coming in next year. Now that he's only a 3 star, this freshman class will suck.

Tough crowd over at Rivals. I guess winning a state title and dominating the state of Kansas = downgrade. Guess he should have saved more orphans from burning buildings and rescued kittens from trees.

This thread doesn't have enough puppies and sunshine, we don't want to scare recruits away.

Considering the season he just finished, I'm actually pretty surprised that he was bumped out of the top 100. I do think that he'll be back in before it's all said and done.

Level of competition might have something to do with it. And besides, he only dropped what, three spots? Easy to make up for on the summer circuit.

I guess that's a good thing. If he is now 3 stars there will probably be less people trying to poach him away from us between now and the signing date.

I think 3 star is accurate. I watched the championship game and thought he was very good, not great. When thinking of guys from the same conference i would put him behind the Relefords and Isaac Miles. Was honestly surprised he was ever a 4 star given build. Think he'll be a solid player. As far as competition he beat my alma mater and conference rival Blue Valley West in champ game, so obviously no slouch :), but not near the offensive firepower of Northwest.
