Agreed. They were loud. At times I thought it seemed louder than ISU-Iowa. Crowd microphone locations make a huge difference how the crowd sounds on TV.

It was loud but hen the showed the arena it was really ugly. it looked like a community college multi-purpose facility, not a D1 basketball arena. Maybe that's why I like Hilton so much - because it looks like an NBA arena from the inside.

I can only go by what I see in tv, but it got pretty damned loud in there. Good crowds. Might be the second most hostile environment we play in all season, other than Kansas.

The renderings they showed of their upcoming renovation looked pretty nice and it sounds like they are rotating the court to allow more seating close to the action. If they can pull off that facility improvement and couple it with the kind of fan showing they had last night, that's going to be a real nice arena.

Also, some of those guys would give our worst meltdown offenders a run for their money. I suppose we'd be the same way if we'd lost to our biggest rival and dropped 3 at home, but geeze, you'd think a mid-major came in and knocked them off, not a team that was Top 5 a week ago.

Sellout at 13176, it's in the thread somewhere I just skimmed the whole thing for ISU talk.

I was surprised it was that big. Didn't look like it on TV. Raucous none the less.

And did you find any ISU talk? I found none. Pretty much the whole thread was them arguing about the rotation and who should start.

Looked like there was a little bit more during the actual game. The typical stuff: Niang slowly driving an opposing fanbase insane, "why do good players want to play in Iowa?", etc.

Yeah not a lot after the game ended, a few posts about Niang and Nader, how we have so many go to players at the end of the game, talk of how they weren't going to hold us under 70 points, and our corner 3's killing them.

I was impressed with their crowd and their team. Outside of about a 6 minute stretch, we played very, very well and it took everything to beat them. They are going to win a lot of games this year.

Good crowd. Reminded me a bit of Hilton. Very loud, crowd engaged, lots of booing, fans trying to will their team back into the game.

My favorite part is at the beginning when talking about the game, they mentioned the message board Iowa state fans were "really really down on the team".

Well played cf, well played.

If their fanbase was just a little bit bigger they would be a great fit for the Big 12.

I was reading some of their posts, I guess people are the same everywhere. It's hard to not get ****** when your team loses, but Cincy WILL end up making some noise this year. By the time selection time rolls around I suspect ISU will end up with at least a few quality wins out of conference.
