Just like many others, he can run, which means he can score at will against us. Like yesterday, our defense has done very well against pocket passers. The opposite is true against the Jeff Sims of the world.

I thought their back up that played in Ames two years ago was really good. Kept it simple and could throw dimes and far less erratic.
The 247 thread waxes poetically about him some -- Jason Bean. I didn't think he was that great overall, but some of the KU fans seems to think he's the reason Leipold got extended.
I mean I do understand why they would be frustrated. KU has given him everything he’s asked for, including a huge contract, a new stadium, and NIL money. And they’re still mediocre.
But at the exact same time, you’re Kansas. Not sure who they think they could get that would be any better than Lance.
Besides, the guy has a great record against Iowa State so I’d maybe wait a couple weeks before jumping off the ledge. But I’ve met maybe one person in KC that really cares about KU football. The rest do not give a crap at all, even now.

Arizona has been really solid all year, except for one game, when we destroyed them. It was fleeting but our roster at that time, playing that way, was a legit top 15 team.

This. Daniel’s can be borderline schizophrenic in his play. Even within the same game. I said to a guy watching them earlier this year that that Daniels is not the same athletically obviously but has some serious Steele Jantz elements to him.
