I realize there are other team distractions, but this is bigger than the "internal" stuff. The entire world knows now. Right now, the team is probably focusing more on what do we do with Bryce than how do we beat Iowa.

If you are going to suspend college basketball players for partying during the week, look out. Half of the players in college basketball would be suspended.

Seriously? Why in the **** would anyone be up at 3:30am on a Wednesday night? Everyone has to sleep, might as well do it when the rest of the world is too.

Thniking being up at 3 a.m. during the season is dumb is not be an old fuddy-duddy. Being on a Division I basketball or football team is harder than having a regular 8-5 job than keeps people from staying up to 3 or 4 a.m. It's not like being a regular student where you can party, be tired and blow the next day off.

I expect the Mayor to bring charges against BDJ's stereo. If I were Fred, I'd collect said stereo and house it in the practice facility until the season is over. Put it in the middle of the lounge as an albatross example to all the other players.

No it was some Abdul guy. Just happens to have the same last name.

Dejean-Jones' attorney told ESPN there were four people in the apartment -- Dejean-Jones, teammate and roommate Abdul Nader, Dejean-Jones' brother and a friend from Los Angeles.

Anybody that thinks college kids hanging out doing the things he was *charged with is uncommon, you are wrong. Is it right? No. But a lot of people do this everyday and go on with their lives.

Apparently the coaches were made aware of noise complaints on 5 other occasions and worked with the coaching staff to resolve those issues. How's that working out? 5 more warnings and you're in big trouble Bryce.

Total disregard and lack of respect for coaches and teammates. That being said I want him to play. No excuses.

TBH, if I'm a coach and I have a player who's had 5 noise complaints, I'm automatically assuming it's just a ******* neighbor who just keeps calling him in because he's a loser.

A roommate of mine years back had the police called on us because he was listening to Metallica in his room. My other roommate and I were watching TV and didn't even hear it. The guy below us just had a problem with us because we were young and he had bad experiences in the past. So I don't think you can assume it was even a party, they may have just been playing video games.

Fred will make the right call, but how do you suspend someone who is never formally charged with anything? If Fred decides to suspend him I am fine with that, and if he doesn't I am fine with that as well.

The act itself is not the most disturbing part of the story. The fact that police had been there five times, had to get the staffed involved, made special accommodations by having residents text him and then he still does the same ****. Just tells me that he doesn't feel the rules apply to him. And that is the problem.

I think it's fairly clear it was NOT a party. From the ESPN report, there were all of 4 people in the apartment, 2 of which lived there (BDJ and Nader) and one of which was a family member.

Even if it was making noise late at night 5 times....still doesn't warrant a suspension.
