Just glad somebody started a thread about sports here. I get all of the obviously more important stuff going on in the country, but I come here to get away from that, and unfortunately over half the threads on the first page are political things. Just need a spot to talk sports for a bit to escape, so thank you for starting this.
What games are you most looking forward to this weekend besides our game against Tech?
I personally can't wait to see the desperation from OU and how Texas really is as a squad because they haven't looked good and should be 0-2 in conference play just like OU.

I know you can, but they are taking over the first page when you go to "Forums" and so they are getting the most activity. For casual posters like me (and there are many of us), we just want to go to the top threads without filtering out any to be in the main conversations. It's cool if that's where everyone wants to be to chat about political things, but I'm just being honest, I can't wait for the election to be over so we can get all of you regulars and others talking some Cyclone sports and sports in general.
Everywhere you look it's politics, issues and more. I see it on every platform I go to, and I am just hoping to get everyone back on some sport's topics being this is Cyclone Fanatic. Wishful thinking I know.
Maybe just me, but I think OU rolls UT. Not that I like either team, but makes feel better about our squad if OU bounces back convincingly.
Now back on topic. Another game I am very intrigued by is the Va. Tech/UNC game. Not that I care too much about the ACC, but seeing UNC ranked No. 8, I really want to see what they are made of. Watched them a bit last week and it was kind of meh, ok.
I would like that too from a confidence standpoint. Although the results of the RRR haven't really made much of an impact on how to judge either of the teams. So many years OU was clearly the better team and Texas would still get them.
Correct. My point is the main page is overrun with them. I don't opt out of anything because I want to be in on the big discussions going on and what everyone is really talking about right now.
Again, I get it, and it's cool if that's what the majority wants to talk about because the election is big. But at this point, the threads are all the same, and nobody is changing anyone's mind, especially on a message board.
I love everyone's thoughts on Cyclone sports and the general sport's landscape. Like if the Lakers close it out tonight, what's everyone's thoughts on this title, the bubble in its completion, etc.?
Appreciate the help to make sure I am up to date on what I can do on the site though honestly
