*** CFB Championship Week Games Thread***

I can understand the SEC love because they do go deep. But in 2022, I think Georgia is in a class by itself within the SEC.

Bama, Tennessee, LSU are really good teams but being rated between 6-12 is appropriate. The SEC does a great job with it's 8 game conference schedule to limit in conference upsets.

For me this season is the classic reason for an 8 or 12 team playoff. Other than Georgia, I don't think there is a clearly dominant team this season.

Agree. My main point is if any conference is going to have 2 of the four spots, it should be the clearly best conference. Not a team that only had one tough conference game all year and got stomped at home.

The new format will help a lot. A conference isn’t going to get 6/12 teams unless it’s historically dominant.

If Bryce Young would have had this game, and then that drive, ESPN would be sucking him off and in full “give him the heisman” mode right now. What a drive by Duggan!

Yep you can tell Fowler is hoping K state wins so Bama will get in.

The Heisman is Duggan's for the taking if he completes the job in OT here.
I don't think so. If you look at stats, Williams has the edge in basically every category

They'll win the challenge because the spot will move forward, but they won't get what they really want out of it.

Yeah TCU has done what they at least needed to do and not get housed. Plus who doesn’t want to see Duggan in the CFP after that grit. Get that man an IV. Win or lose that **** was legendary. Hope they win to cap that off though because that guy deserves this.

Win or lose here, this is how they’ve won, close and tough. Not sure if that’ll work vs Georgia but it might against others.
