*** CFB Championship Week Games Thread***

I know I should be rooting for TCU but dang it KSU are family.
Yeah, but if you meet them on Twitter they're like the family member that doesn't shower for a week and sleeps until noon everyday. The fans you meet in person are fine though.

Dude you have to get over this covid year OSU stuff. That year is beyond an outlier and we were going through a global pandemic. Big ten was legit making it up as they went that year.

I would still keep TCU in over LSU who has two losses.

Put your money where your mouth is. If TCU loses and stays in the playoff make a donation.
It’s almost like some people want TCU to get jumped so they can complain about it. ESPN, who practically owns the CFP, has TCU at like 95% chance to make the CFP. If there were questions, that would be a lot lower.

I’ll concede that all else being equal, the committee would favor the bigger name. But things aren’t close to equal here, even if TCU loses (as long as it’s not by 3TDs or more)

He's not referring to OSU in the COVID year; he's referring to the "13th data point" in 2014 - the last year the Big 12 didn't have a Conference Championship Game.

TCU went from ranked 3rd in the CFP polls the week of the conference championship games to being ranked 5th after the championship games, and the convenient excuse used to make it such OSU jumped TCU was "TCU didn't have the 13th data point that OSU had".

If OSU is referred to at all, it's because OSU had 6 data points that year as opposed to everyone else's 12 - but as you said, that is an outlier year.

Nah he brings up OSU playing 6 games during the covid year in his rant and mentions it regularly as if it wasn’t an insane year in CFB. But yeah he brings up that other one too.

You’d have a point if it were only one year. TCU got dropped 3 spots for only playing 12 games. Care to bet me a billion dollars Ohio State won’t drop 3 spots for 12 game schedule in final week?

I don’t think TCU is top 4 worthy this year anyway if they lose this. The year they got screwed I’d have voted them #1 in final poll.

Ugh, people Kansas is going to screw this up for everyone.

KSU's going to blow this whole thing up.

TCU looks about as good as USC on D right now.

K State has ruined a lot of fun over the years. Looks like they’re back at it.

That was my worry too. Their offense has so much more margin like Utah's by not having to throw 45 times and still be successful

LSU is cooked they have 3 losses and 1 to 4-8 Texas A&M. Paul Finebaum wouldn't even put them in

Yep... no chance for LSU to get in at this point. Even if they somehow curb stomped Georgia. You can't just throw out the resume's because of one game.

Personally... I want all 4 of the top teams to lose. USC has already done their job.... TCU is now losing too. Then need Michigan and Georgia to lose also. Although I think Michigan and Georgia probably make it win or lose today.

I just want complete chaos. Teams should not get punished by losing in their championship game IMO, but it happens. tOSU and Alabama don't have to win another game today.... that's garbage that they can backdoor it in.

OSU passed them that year because they win their championship game easily and added another ranked win to the resume. OSU won’t get dropped because no one around them won their championship game. This isn’t hard?

Even if they pull it out I have a hard time seeing TCU as actual top four. Big 12 was just so balanced and TCU was most buttoned up. I think entire conference was probably 15-40 range. I mean as bad as our year was we were in every game until last one where wheels fell off.
